Big Steps

Life is full of them...Big Steps...And I am about to try a new, BIG one. Today I am going to bid on a new teaching assignment...6th grade, general education! I have not taught my own gen ed class in eleven years and it is a scary and exciting thought. In some ways I feel like I am bailing on my current students, but I need a change for me. It is weird to think I am going to make such a drastic shift, but there is also a nice feeling of peace about the idea of this change.
